My son built them by the picture and added something of his own. This one, for examble, is Grasshopper. It has two motors, but you need to make sure that both motors spin in the same direction.
Category: K’NEX
K’Nex, invented by Joel Glickman, is a building system that uses rods and connectors. It was introduced in America in 1992 and is designed and produced by K’Nex Industries Inc., located in Hatfield, Pennsylvania.
This toy consists of interlocking plastic rods, connectors, blocks, gears, wheels, and other components that can be assembled to create a wide range of models, machines, and architectural structures. These sets promote creativity, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. They are suitable for both individual and group play and can be used at home, in the classroom, or in after-school programs. Kid K’NEX sets introduce young children to building and construction in a safe and age-appropriate way.
Playing with K’Nex supports various aspects of a child’s development. As they connect the different parts and explore how the building system works, they enhance their hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, spatial awareness, and imaginative thinking.
LOZ – ROBOT With A Motor (View 1)
MAde from “Robot” building kit – 373 pieces.
We Also Liked The LOZ Big-Eyes
Actually, neither of my children are fans of robots. I bought the first set of Loz because of the motor and in order to look at the quality of this K’Nex-like set. But the Eyeballs charmed us completely 🙂 They run and crawl around the room so funny! And they “fight” if you direct them at one another. The robots turned out to be very similar to the Micro-Bots series from Knex. There are four sets, each with detailed instructions for one critter and a picture of a robot you can build from two sets.
K’NEX MUSICAL FERRIS WHEEL
It has a mall motor, so the wheel can rotate like a real one.
K’NEX Thrill Rides – Ferris Wheel
Another motorized craft made from Thrill Ride set.
K’NEX Mosaic Duckling
We love these K’Nex blocks – including these small ones you can use as a mosaic.
K’NEX-Lego Kangaroo
The last time we bought Knex in bulk, on E-Bay. And the generous seller, having learned the age of my children, also added a set of Knex mosaics and Knex Lego. My daughter always likes Knex-Lego – she doesn’t like regular Lego, but this one has softer parts and rounded corners and the pieces connections are a little stronger.
K’NEX Bird
This K’Nex bird flaps its wings if you rotate the crank.
K’NEX Tank
The tank’s turret rotates up to 360 degrees.
K’NEX Thrill Rides
This is one of many K’Nex sets offering to build carnival rides. This set is a big one, it has 744 pieces, mostly classic K’Nex building pieces. there areno decorations to speak of, but the set has a small motor and some gears, so you can build moving crafts.
