Playmobil is a popular toy line produced by the Brandstätter Group (Geobra Brandstätter GmbH & Co KG), based in Zirndorf, Germany. The distinctive Playmobil toy features a 7.5 cm human figure with a friendly smile. Additionally, the Playmobil line includes a wide range of accessories, buildings, vehicles, and various animals.
Playmobil is known for its realistic and detailed figures that bring role plays to life, making them relatable and enjoyable. The creators of Playmobil aimed to develop a play system that would provide children with endless possibilities for fun and creativity. By combining different parts and themes, children can continually create new scenarios and characters, sparking their imagination with each play session.
This category focuses on toys that are about storytelling rather than assembling pieces. These toys provide a safe environment for children to act out everyday scenarios from an outside perspective. For instance, they can pretend to order food at a restaurant, interact with a doctor during a consultation, or call for help during emergencies.
Role-playing with these toys also promotes language development. Children have the opportunity to engage in various conversations within different scenarios, allowing them to learn and practice vocabulary specific to each situation.
Playmobil Fire Truck – Contents
Everything this Playmobil set contains. The truck actually comes in a few big pieces, but the picture shows it after the assembly. Transparent spear-like things in the bottom left corner are the water projectiles the water cannon will shoot.
Playmobil Fire Truck – Box
This fire truck has only 86 pieces – and these pieces are mostly the extra items for the game. The vehicle itself comes in form of a few huge sections you just need to assemble. There is little to build – but when you done, you will get a good toy to play with. You can roll the truck around, rotate the ladder or remove the top of the cabin. Water cannon actually shoots platic “water”. There are also flexible firehoses and many extra items like the traffic cones.

Playmobil Fire Truck
Playmobil City Action and City Life series look very similar to LEGO City. They also have police, ambulance, rescue and firefighter vehicles of different sizes. The biggest sets are building of the same theme – like police station or a hospital. However, Playmobil sets, unlike LEGO, are focusing on play, not building. They have very little to no building options – but Playmobil also have more interesting extra pieces and options.

These are sets for children up to three years old. But my eldest daughter also plays with them with pleasure. We are constantly replenishing our stocks.
Playmobil T-Rex – Contents
Everything included in the dino riding set. It has the warrior, the dino in a harness, spears, crossbows with arrows, stones and some small prehistoric critters.
Playmobil T-Rex
Another dino-riding warrior, this one is by Playmobil. This dinosaur has cannons, spears and can fall stones from the basket on its back. As always with Playmobil, it is more fun to play with than to build.
Constructor Or Toy
Animals in this set are groping in families. I can say for sure that stringing all the birds and butterflies on the crown of trees clearly develops fine motor skills. It takes quite a long time 🙂
