I’m not Jane, but I can answer 🙂 In my opinion, the quality is exactly the same as the original. We made the same robot from a real Knex – and it’s not very strong. It walks well, but you have to place it on the floor very carefully; when it goes over obstacles, it can break.
We liked the quality. Both the regular and mini parts connect well, I found 3 tight fastenings for 2 sets – and, well, that’s all. We assembled thr big robot together, and the son had already assembled the smaller robot himself. Then we launched robots on the bed. The big one (pictured) may trip over the folds of the sheet, but generally moves around quite well. And the little robot generally walks very quickly, and nothing has ever fallen off of it :)))))
This set has both K’Nex and mini-K’Nex pieces. The big-eyed robot walks very funny – waddling and stumbling))))), and his eyes turn when he walks)
It’s so funny!!! Jane, what can you say about the quality? And what about the strength of the model?

Thank you!
