Left to right: Genii creation – Tegu – Edtoy. They are exactly the same size and connect together well. Each constructor is good in its own way and goes well with the others. We got planks and colored cubes from Tegu. Edtoy makes interesting architectural elements and wheelsets. Genii creation has many small, colorful and varied pieces.
Tatiana, I know that you don’t think it’s right to combine different constructors together. But still, if we take some similarity in size as a basis, does it make sense to use constructors from these different manufacturers at the same time while building?
Well, why, this is just my opinion – I think that every set has the right to independent existence, and if it is already created independent, you need to squeeze as many building options out of it as possible without attracting additional funds :)))
Its different with magnetic sets – we used to decorate Tegu with magnetic balls before, it turned out well. Tegu is simple – just planks and cubes, I think Genii creation with its multi-colored small pieces will come in handy here and will bring many new ideas to construction. Moreover, we just got a Playground 🙂 hands are itching to try it 🙂
Last week (sincehad a vacation) the children experimented with Edtoy and Tegu – it turned out well. We took a set with Edtoy cars and the whole range of Tegu – we built cars, tractors, locomotives, robots and all sorts of towers on wheels. The children liked it. Tegu would certainly work well with the Edtoy Architecture, which does not have tall columns and slabs. Although we were disappointed with Tegu’s latest Explorer Set (Nelson), I do not think that its disadvantages will stop us from building. Naturally, the same size of the pieces helps the builders, there are no annoying gaps, nothing sticks out, all the pieces fit perfectly together, the craft looks harmonious, so the children (and me too :)) like this combination.
Tatiana, we are really looking forward to your photos of the crafts with the combinations of these s in sets. So we maybe will decide to buy tegu, because we had some doubts about the need to purchase it! Thank you.
I’ll try to post a photo soon. There are not so many creations 🙂 so far, mostly Tegu + Edtoy. But there is a new set of Tegu Magnetron, so our experiments will continue 🙂 If you have questions about Tegu, feel free to ask 🙂 despite the small number of our crafts in the Encyclopedia, we play with Tegu often, but it also has disadvantages. He is also our most traveling constructor 🙂
