Guidecraft, which once gave us the first Magneatos magnetic construction kit, now called Better Builders, has released another unusual set – Magneatos Reflections. A large set has 58 parts – 24 black balls (5 cm), 26 white rods, 4 x-shaped crosses, and 4 panels with a mirror surface. An unusual combination of contrasting colors – black and white, magnetic connection, mirror surface… a very entertaining and useful set in all respects. Recommended for ages 2+.
Category: Kits for babies with big pieces (Magneatos, Bornimago, Magnet Block, Magz)
Building kits with metal balls and magnetic rods are popular and educational magnetic toys. They promote engineering thinking and creativity. However, it’s important to be cautious with these toys around smaller children due to safety concerns. The small details can be accidentally swallowed, and the tiny pieces may be difficult for young children to handle properly.
To address these issues, there are jumbo-sized options available, specifically designed for toddlers. These larger pieces provide a safer alternative, reducing the risk of accidental ingestion and making it easier for small children to enjoy the benefits of magnetic building kits while exploring their engineering skills and fostering creativity.
Updated Japanese Magnet Block by Toyroyal
Japanese Magnet Block (Toyroyal) made the ends of the sticks lighter – they used to be black, now they are blue and white. The colors of the pieces was improved – now there are several bright colors. And they added a funny 8-shaped detail with spirals. It can serve as the body or eyes of some characters from Japanese cartoons.
Kebotoy – Animal Friends – Magnetic Building Set For Toddlers
An analogue of the Japanese Magnet Block. Simple set with balls and rods. There is a base board with grooves for installing balls and a black metal surface. This Chinese manufacturer also has a set with wheels – Car Playground.
Kebotoy – Car Playground – Magnetic Building Set For Toddlers
The construction set from the Chinese manufacturer Kebotoy, unlike its Japanese original, has 4 brown ball faces. All with different emotions. There are few details – balls, rods, a base board and wheels.
African Girl
The skin color is appropriate, and the ponytails are also African, lush ones. But the constructor is Japanese Magnet Block (Toyroyal), so this most likely is an African-Japanese girl.
Sad Calf
He always shakes his head, as if he’s very dissapoineted in the universe.
Nets Tribe Soft Building Blocks
These soft blocks are safe for toddlers to play with aor just be around. They are too big to eat, and too lightweight ajd soft to harm. Thing you build from these blocks are essentially kid’s soft furniture, like this cube on photo.
Ironing Fish
That’s what we called this cute creature, with which Afonya (1.9) flattened the rug on the balcony.
Eco-Friendly Japanese Motobike For A Mouse
The mouse is happy. The motor scooter is made from the Japanese designer Magnet Block (Toyroyal).
SmartMax Flower Power – Bornimago
In our case its actually Magneatos, but does not change the essence. Its the same plastic balls and magnetic rods. We made a small flowerbed – the toy blossomed to the great amazement of the one-year-old youngest son, who is actively playing with large magnetic rods and rolling balls right now. He immediately peeled off all the flowers, freeing the sticks for his needs, so he had to move on to decorating other kits. In general, flowers fall off plastic balls, they stick much better on metal ones.
