One of the Tegu baby cars. This one have rounded top piece, and there are cars of similar shapes but different colors.
Category: Story based – animals, plants, vehicles, cars with magnetic parts
Toys in this category emphasize role-play and storytelling rather than building specific shapes. The magnetic pieces featured in these toys provide unique opportunities for interactive games, as they can be easily assembled, replaced, and rearranged as many times as desired. These toys foster creativity and social interaction, encouraging children to engage in imaginative play with others.
Plastwood – Magnetic Characters
The little people consist of a torso with arms (they spin but do not detach), a head and legs/skirt. There is one magnet in the head near the neck, two in the legs/skirt, and 4 in the torso. In the torso, there are two magnets on the bottom, for the legs, one on top and one for some reason on the stomach (apparently for creativity). There are a lot of extra pieces (sword, broom, cloak, crown, hat), but they are not on magnets, you simply insert them or put on.
People’s Japanese Magnetic Building Set For Kids – Multi-Colored
The construction set consists of bright plastic blocks of various shapes, very similar to the details of the American Magna-Tiles – Working Trucks set. The Japanese company People has released its magnetic construction kits under the general name Pythagoras.
Magna-Tiles Working Trucks
What’s inside the kit – 4 bases with wheels, 2 trailers with 2 wheels, parts to build a concrete mixer, bulldozer, tractor, garbage truck. There are cabins for cars and trucks. There are flashing lights, there are front attachments with headlights, which children insist on calling eyes. The photo shows all the parts of this set. The magnets hold the parts well, but when you move the car with a trailer, it’s better to support the trailer with your hand.
Tegu Cars In Grass
Photo by the manufacturer. There are many Tegu cars for babies – with identical overall scheme, but different colors and shapes.
Fire Truck And Other Special Vehicles
You can build 3-4 vehicles from this set at the same time.
Magna-Tiles Magnetic Cars
The set arrived in a flat cardboard box, which was not very convenient to store the toys. So I put the parts in a plastic box with latches. But I cut out the models offered on the box and use them as small cards with samples (I think that the ability to assemble something according to the model is necessary for children). A total of 20 models are offered for assembly.
SmartMax Roboflex Plus
A fun and unusual kit which allows you to create robot-like character of unique (if silly) shapes. It includes flixible tubes, blocks, wings, wheels, propellers, and other “robotic” parts. All pieces made from sturdy, colorful plastic. The set includes 20 pieces, which is enough to build a surprising number of robots, especially since you can use many parts in more than one way.
Tegu Cars
These Tegu toys are for smaller children, so they have only few big, simple pieces. There are cars of different shapes and colors, and you can connect them with magnets, making a train.
Playing With Cars
Arishka plays with the set we bought for her younger sister. I also know some boys who absolutely love magnetic cars.
