Tegu

Tegu is a very popular brand of building kits, produced in Honduras. All Tegu pieces are wooden blocks and planks of simple shapes, with small but powerful magnets inside. These pieces are very well-crafted, and just pleasant to hold in your hands. They look pretty basic at first, but children may assemble them into all kinds of surprising things, even the smallest 6-piece sets can be put together in seemingly endless ways. This brand is also very proud of its wood being sustainable and its business improving Honduras’ economics.
However, Tegu sets are typically much smaller than average building sets of the same price range.

42-Piece Natural Tegu Set

Virtually all tegu sets have “Natural” version available. Tegu likes to highlight the fact that its sets are wooden, so all color versions usually have uncolored pieces. But “Natural” sets are don’t have paint at all – the pieces are smooth, but have no extra coating. This is craft made from the “Natural” 42-piece set – a huge set by Tegu standards, with lots of pieces included.

Tegu Jumper

The new set is hardly related to the popular type of clothing – jumper, the name is based on the verb Jump. The largest of the 4 is reinforced with 4 wheels with fat tires. Apparently, you are supposed to jump on them. You can build everything – from a simple motorcycle to a truck with a trailer. If there was a propeller, it would be great, but no – the propellers are in other sets. But Tegu now has a character, so to speak, “Tegu’s face” – a cylinder with eyes – indicated by an arrow.
