We used only pieces from the Kid KNEX Big Building Tub set.
Category: KID K’NEX
K’Nex is a rod and connector building system invented by Joel Glickman. It was first introduced in America in 1992. K’Nex is designed and produced by K’Nex Industries Inc. of Hatfield, Pennsylvania.
Kid K’NEX building sets are specifically designed for children aged 3-5. With larger, softer parts that are easy for small hands to manipulate and snap together, these sets provide a fun and engaging building experience. They feature colorful pieces in various shapes and sizes, like blocks, rods, and connectors, allowing children to create simple structures, animals, and more. Special pieces like colorful eyes, curly tails, and bendable joints add to the engaging fun.
These sets promote creativity, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. They are suitable for both individual and group play and can be used at home, in the classroom, or in after-school programs. Kid K’NEX sets introduce young children to building and construction in a safe and age-appropriate way.
This building toy promotes independent play, allowing children to create basic figures on their own and explore more complex structures with guidance. The set comes in a durable tub, perfect for family trips or easy storage at home. These preschool building toys encourage imagination, creativity, and the development of fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, problem-solving abilities, cognitive functions, and spatial intelligence in young children.
KID K’NEX Oodles Of Pals Set – Lion
This set has many decorative pieces – including the paws, heads and tails. But along with animal pieces, there are also wheels and other technical decorations. So you can make animals, vehicles, or something combined.
Scared Christmas Tree
We only used pieces of Kid KNEX Big Building Tub set.
Panda Pals
Another very cute set of baby Knex. There are 21 items in total. It has these wonderful white face with a pink nose, small round ears and expressive eyes. Arishka collected the panda and didn’t let go of it for 2 weeks. As soon as we are allowed to disassemble her new friend, which I still doubt, we will definitely present you some crafts from this set.
KID K’NEX Oodles Of Pals Set – Tractor
Connecting rods of Kid K’Nex allow many interesting possibilities. You can use them to connect the basic pieces, to create outlines of the craft’s shape, or decorate your creature with them.
K’Nex Furry Friends
This is a small set – it has only 22 parts. The ears a rather big, and we really liked both the size and the color. The girls were also happy with the muzzle piece with a pink nose. And 4 paws – by the way, they are darker than in the previous sets of Kid Knex.
KID K’NEX Oodles Of Pals Set
Oodles of Pals is a big set, with 116 pieces. Along with the basic Kid K’Nex pieces, it has wheels, horn/tail pieces, showels, paws and other decorations. It has no significant theme – this set is all about crating weird and unexpected creatures.
Arishka’s Mice
Family of mice. Ahead, of course, is a troublemaking baby mouse, on the left is dad mouse, he is taller, on the right is mom mouse.
K’NEX SWING
Another K’Nex thing we added small toys to.
KID K’NEX Zoo Friends Set – Dog
One of the interesting things about the Kid K’Nex pieces is a number of different ways you can connect the “flake” pieces to anything else. If you want to attach a rod to a flake at 90 angle, you can attach the rod not just to the flake centre, but also yo the edjes.
