We sometimes play like this: we take some kind of constructor, one with not too many details, and we build something of specific theme, animals, for example. The conditions are not to disassemble any figures and to left as few unused pieces as possible. At first, it’s simple, but the fewer pieces you have are, the more difficult it is to portray something you need :))
A smaller Edushape set with a baseplate included.
Another representative of a large family of building set owls :))
This is the royal family at breakfast. Made from foam magnetic tiles.
These foam blocks hold together better if assembled on a metal or magnetic plate. Edushape also has a set with smaller number of pieces, but with a baseplate included.

We love the Magic Shape constructor from Edushape so much – its nice, lightweight and interesting. Great toy for ages 2 and up.
A close-up of Edushape Magic Shapes blocks. Many blocks in this set match each other neatly and can be used together almost as one block.
