Magformers

Magformers is a famous magnetic building kits brand from the USA.
Magformers sets contain plastic frames of different shapes, like triangles, squares, rectangles and so on.
All of them have small but powerful magnets sealed inside the edges, so you can connect the pieces in any way you want.
The magnets of the original Magformers pieces are always strong enough to keep even big sculptures together, and more reliable structures can be actually survive a light toss without falling apart.
Some kits have special parts like propellers or rechargable LEDs, which kids can also add to their magnetic creations.
Despite different shapes, you can use any Magformers sets together, regardless of their style.

High-rise buildings and a children’s amusement park with slides, a carousel and a train

Built by Sam, 5 years old. Recently Sam has been very passionate about creating urban landscapes with high-rise buildings, cranes, playgrounds, etc. Sometimes he uses not just building kits, but also all sorts of improvised materials such as cups, lids. IMO, it turns out fresh and interesting.

Magformers Window Plus

Another Magformers set focusing on unusual pieces. While Magformers, by the definition, are magnetic frames, this set also has “windows”. These unique pieces are square frames with empty space covered with transparent plastic. With these window pieces, any craft will look very different. So it’s a good idea to try this set with any other Magformers, especially for building houses.

Magformers Landmark Set – Monuments of History and Culture

A solid set of 174 parts. Very good in composition – all the main forms are present in sufficient amount to create both well-known monuments of history and culture, and objects of the near future still unknown to mankind. The set comes with a booklet that briefly explains how to build the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Golden Gate and Tower Bridges, the Sydney Opera House, the Eiffel Tower, the Empire State Building and other famous architectural monuments.
