The set pleased the children very much. Square inserts themselves have magnets, and you can use them on their own or as a base for installing guns, antennas, propellers. And they can rotate. All additions like hinges, antenna, guns, and propeller have magnets and can be used with any other magnetic construction sets. The new wheels on a square are good – the wheels are arranged one at a time, not in pairs, and now you can even build a two- or three-wheeled vehicle. I liked the new details – arches, sectors, small rectangles, they are very good and stimulate the emergence of new ideas in construction.

The propeller in the Magformers Transform kit is expandable, and you can adapt it for both small and large aircrafts.

Pythagoras is an educational set, focusing on helping kids to understand geometry with 2D and 3D magnetic figures. The pieces are typical Magformers frames, though Pythagoras has more different shapes than other Magformers sets of this size. However, this set has a booklet offering geometrical activities and games. It can be an interesting educational asset – but no one will stop you from just playing with it either.

The set has 18 colorful square plastic panels and 36 white cards featuring letters, numbers and basic math symbols. The cards are double-sided. Each colored plastic panel is a transparent box into which a white card with letters or symbols is inserted. The panels themselves also can be used as an additional structural elements without cards inside.
