Another proposed craft from the smallest Magformers Basic Set. I don’t know what it is, but it looks funny.

Made from EDTOY blocks by Willy (6 years).
Unlike many other magnetic blocks, these soft blocks by Nets Tribe have different polarities. All sets have 2 colors of blocks, and the blocks attract only blocks of the different color. This is somewhat limiting, especially since there are small number of blocks in each set.
This is a very small Qubits craft that shows some possible connections of the different pieces. The bigger crafts just repeat these principles on a bigger scale.
Qubits is a small toy brand making very interesting and unusual building sets. Qubits sets have only two types of pieces – rectangular planks and multi-triangular pieces.
The multi-triangular pieces look like they are made from many connected triangles. They can connect to each other with the matching holes and pegs in the triangles’ centers. Each of these pieces has the same shape, but, connecting and overlapping, they create strong, flexible openwork structures. They can create any shapes and forms, flat or 3D. However, triangular shapes are the most sturdy and resilient ones.
There are also rectangular pieces, that can connect with multi-triangular ones both with the edges and with the openings on their surfaces. These pieces can also connect to each other. Both shapes come in multiple colors, often random, colors. Together, these two shapes can create many surprising and fascinating crafts. Sadly, Qubits have no extra pieces like wheels, so the number of moving crafts and toys is somewhat limited.
Qubits are big enough to be safe even for toddlers. However, these sets can be confusing for the smaller children, so the recommended age is 6+.
Another possible craft from the smallest Magformers Basic set. It takes almost all pieces in the set to build.
More than 70 cm. Magneticus magnetic cubes.
By Mary B and 6,6-years-old Willy.
This is smallest of the Magformers Basic sets – it has only 14 pieces, and only squares and triangles. However, this is enough to build many different things or enhance some set you already have. It is a good starter set just to try out Magformers. It may also be handy as a travel option, since it’s entertaining and takes little space when stacked.
Made from a Chinese magnetic construction set. For size comparison, there is a LEGO Duplo train in front.

Oodles of Pals is a big set, with 116 pieces. Along with the basic Kid K’Nex pieces, it has wheels, horn/tail pieces, showels, paws and other decorations. It has no significant theme – this set is all about crating weird and unexpected creatures.
The biggest Clixo set has 60 pieces of different colors. It has the same shapes and same features the smaller sets have. It has flexible panels with magnets you can connect in any position you like. Bigger number of pieces means you can build much, much more from a simple set, making more complicated things.
