We bought a set from the new Geomag Kor series out of pure curiosity and even with a slight sense of pessimism, and did not expect that it would be so interesting to play with. And most importantly – everything revolves in the literal sense around one ball.

ATTENTION! Guard the ball like it’s an apple of your eye – the constructor does not work without it!!! A shiny ball is a very attractive thing for younger brothers and sisters.

And one more thing – additional elements fit very tightly into the holes of the covers. So I recommend to attach them first them to the cover, and then attach the cover to the magnetic segment. Otherwise, with strong pressure, you can displace the magnetic segments and disrupt or destroy the constructed object. The lids also fit tightly to the magnetic segments, and sometimes they are also difficult to remove. By the way, the lids themselves can be decorative elements, you can insert them into the opening of other lids.

Since all Geomag Kor sets have standard pieces, you may use different sets together. There are sets by Geomag brand with extra pieces you may add to any other Geomag Kor sets, like additional decorative pieces or surface plates of another color.

This picture, provided by the manufacturer, shows the basics of Geomag Kor construction. Plastic blocks have magnets in their narrower ends, and you may see light dashes where magnets was sealed in the plastic. Blocks attach to a single metal ball from all sides. forming the hape of your creature. You may switch the blocks and add extra pieces into sockets omn the surface to decorate your craft.

The egg you get after fixing the plates on the main ball. You can twist it like the Rubik’s cube, and get new unexpected shapes. This is interesting and unusual, since that the set is magnetic, and has a round shape.

Geomag Kor Proteon offers you to build fantastic creatures with heads, moving limbs, horns and spikes. The extra pieces are unique for these sets, but they are still part of Geomag Kor series, and have the same building principles. So you can mix pieces with other Kor set.

This is how the manufacturer suggests to play with the built figure – turning it it like a Rubik’s cube and getting new shapes.

The base is a metal ball. The triangular and quadrangular segments are attached to it with a magnet in their narrow part. Plastic covers of different shapes are attached on top, they are the same for triangular segments. But for quadrangular segments – there are 3 different types of lids. So you can give the models different shapes by turning or rearranging the parts. To make the constructed object more recognizable, the sets may have fins, tails and horns/ears.

This is just another assembly option for Geomag Kor Tazoo Set. Even while the basic core remains the same, you can re-arrange the surface triangles and squares to change the shape of your creature. Here, simple changing and turning of pieces gave turned the basic egg into a flat-belly creature with maw and legs.
