Little Arkhip also enjoyed playing with the constructor. This model is made only from Edtoy blocks.

SmartMax Cars
You can load anything into the car’s body. Afonya (1.5 years old) loaded rather heavy stones in here, and the vehicle moved quietly, did not roll over, everything was holding up.
The Wild Ones – Wild Animals
Another very cute set of Kid K’Nex. The suitcase, by the way, doesn’t close very tightly. The set has octagonal plates for creating wild animals – like tiger, zebra, leopard… Some corrugated tubes. An interesting blue piece you can make a beak of a toucan or a rhinoceros horn – in our photo this is the body of a snail on the right. 4 cute tiger paws, a pair of cat ears – we tried to reflect the most interesting details of this set in the photo. We bought it second-handed – unfortunately, K’NEx doesn’t produce it anymore.
Y-Ball
Y-ball designer – Roger von Oech – is popularizer of creative thinking and speaker. The 30 pieces come with a 96 page booklet with samples and reflections on the benefits of creative thinking. You can check out other inventions by Roger von Oech – the popular Ball of Whacks, X-ball, Y-ball, Star-ball and others on the Creative Whack Company website.
Edtoy + Tegu – Car
The sisters also took part in the development of new car models. However, they could not come to a consensus – a retro-style car or a sports car.
Smartmax – Power Of Magnets
The magnets in this set are strong. Here, we placed several rods vertically, and they hold perfectly, without slipping. So we can lift the tower by the top and move it around.
Zoob BuilderZ Contents
Zoob Builderz is an interesting set that focuses on moving models. Technialy, all Zoob models can move, but this set includes a string and rubber bands to create things like trampoline or a catapult. This set is a better choice for older kids, who can learn many interesting things from it. The picture shows anything Zoob Builderz contents – 220 pieces in total.
Back in 1997, inventor Michael Grey introduced Zoob, a toy inspired by the science of motion and organism development. Zoob represents an acronym for Zoology, Ontology, Ontogeny, and Botany. Each set has rod-like pieces with joint balls and sockets on their ends. Each of these balls has small bumps on its surface, so the joints can both move and stay in a certain position if you need them to.
This innovative toy features a ball and socket connection system, mimicking the natural movement and design found in people, animals, and machines. With just five basic shapes, Zoob offers 20 different ways to connect them together.
Zoob building sets have won awards because they’re different from regular building blocks. They use plastic pieces that snap together, like gears and joints, to build all kinds of objects, limited only by your imagination. After you build something with Zoob, you can actually play with it – the pieces were designed to move after being assembled, so you can have fun with the toys you create.
Zoobs are great for helping children improve their fine motor skills. The pieces are small enough to easily manipulate and put them together, but they’re not too tiny like some other toys, so it’s easier for kids who find small objects tricky.
A Trailer for Traveling Owlets
The wheels can rotate properly and carry those owlets to whatever destination they want.
Super-Hammer
With Kid K’Nex you can make not just creatures, but also hammers, swords and other instruments. We even hammered some nails in soft, mossy soil.
The Magnetic Baseplate From Magnetic Stick N Stack Kit
Magnetic Stick N Stack is the same as Magna-Tiles, tested empirically. But Magna-Tiles doesn’t has this wonder. So we will definitely get a couple of these plates at the first opportunity. Building from magnetic panels on a magnetic board, of course, is also convenient, but this plate is what you need for making ceilings, large roofs of large garages (a very actual topic for us). Its size is 30×30 cm!
